Chaplains on the Front Line of Faith Movie Viewing/Discussion

Martin Doblmeier’s documentary Chaplains: On the Front Lines of Faith, illustrates how clergy of various faiths have been public church leaders for ages. As our culture evolves, so does the chaplain’s vocation.
To view the film and speak with academics, practicing chaplains and community members, join us for a light reception, screening of the 1-hour documentary, and discussion. Bring your friends!

PANELISTS:
The Rev. and Lt Commander Cris Frigm, Pastor and Chaplain, Trinity Lutheran, Taneytown, MD and US Navy (Reserve) chaplain with US Marine Corps (Reserve), Baltimore, MD. Currently, an STM student at United Lutheran Seminary with a focus on public theology.
The Rev. Dr. Brooks Schramm, is a Lutheran clergyman and Professor of Biblical Studies, Kraft Chair, at United Lutheran Seminary. He teaches Hebrew language and courses related to the study of the Holy Scriptures, specifically the Old Testament.
The Rev. Gerry Rickel, Pastor of the Community of St. Dysmas, a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America operating with the Maryland Department of Corrections.
