Congratulations to the ULS graduating class of 2018!
Graduation will be held Friday, May 18, 2018 at 1:30pm at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church located at 10 Delp Road in Lancaster, PA 17601.
Please plan to arrive at 12:45pm. Students will robe in the Chapel area and a class photo is scheduled for 1:00.
After the picture it will be time to line up and process at 1:30.
Tables will be set up outside the Chapel area for you to return your robe and hood after the ceremony.
The ceremony will be followed by a reception at the church, with light refreshments.
On May 17 at 7:30 PM, there’ll be simultaneous Communion services including Farewell and Godspeed on the two campuses.
Each graduate will receive a copy of the Prayer Book for the Armed Forces courtesy of the ELCA’s office of federal chaplaincies.
There will also be receptions on both campuses for faculty, staff, graduating seniors, and their families.

The Farewell and Godspeed service in Philadelphia will be followed by a reception in Benbow C.
Robes and hoods are ready to be picked up on both campuses. You received an email informing you when and where to pick them up.
In order to obtain your Commencement regalia, you will need to make sure your account is clear with the Business Office, Library and Financial Aid Office. If you received a Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan and/or a Federal Direct PLUS loan you must complete online student loan exit counseling at studentloans.gov. The counseling session should take between 20-30 minutes to complete. The entire counseling process must be completed in a single session. You are required to provide confirmation (printout or email) that this process has been completed before you can pick up your Commencement regalia.
The $150 graduation fee was placed on your student account this week.

We have a handful of diploma frames available for purchase ($100) on each campus. They make a great gift from parents!

We are providing transportation for graduates, students, faculty, staff, and their families on a first-come, first-served basis to those who have tickets to attend the ceremony and/or for those scheduled to participate in the day’s activities in some capacity. Currently, we have contracted two 55-passenger buses, one for each campus. Each bus will begin loading at 9:50am and will depart from the respective campuses PROMPTLY at 10:15am.
The bus departing from the Gettysburg campus will load in front of Valentine Hall at the fountain. Loading will begin at 9:50am. The bus will depart promptly at 10:15am.
The bus departing from the Philadelphia campus will load in the Brossman Center parking lot. Loading will begin at 9:50am. The bus will depart promptly at 10:15am.
Following graduation, buses are scheduled to depart St. Peter’s at approximately 5:00pm and arrive at the respective campuses at approximately 6:15pm.
