Archivist and Cataloger
Having grown up in central Pennsylvania, Sheila is an avid lover of mountains and all things nature. A bit of a history nerd, her favorite areas of study are the Gilded Age and Progressive era, but she also has a deep interest in medieval history. Sheila is particularly intrigued by history that concentrates upon the social, economic, and cultural institutions of people. In her spare time she enjoys photography, blogging, yoga and meditation.
Sheila is the primary contact for seminary and Region 8 archival reference requests and is responsible for the copy and original cataloging of library materials located on both campuses. She assists patrons with all their research needs and is continually working on projects to improve the Archives, especially digitization and outreach. Sheila also oversees interns and volunteers and maintains the A.R. Wentz Library Blog.
