The 2019 Symposium of Evangelical Lutheranism in Appalachia and The Town & Country Church Institute present, “The Opioid Crisis: Seeking a Faithful Response.” Join us on the Gettysburg Campus of United Lutheran Seminary on November 8-9, 2019 for this informative event!
The Opioid Epidemic is something that touches all of our ministries. This Symposium will offer opportunity to learn about addiction, how to be a pastoral presence for those experiencing addiction and their loved ones. Opportunity for discussion around shared pastoral care and ministry programming planning will help shape ministry with those touched by opioid addiction.
Event registration cost is $75.00 and there is an option of a $10.00 on-campus lunch on Friday.
