Liberating Our Dignities: Saving Our Souls as we walk the path of
the Cross and Beyond the Grave
Please join us for a Lenten learning and
meditation opportunity in partnership with
DE-MD ADLA and Lower Susquehanna
Synod Justice Ministries. Facilitated by Rev.
Dr. Beverly Wallace, founder/director of the
ELCA Womanist Initiative, we will journey
together through the effect internalized
oppression has on BIPOC bodies and spirits
and how we can engage and embrace
liberation through the cross. This workshop
series will center storytelling, experience,
and voices of BIPOC people but
white/European descent individuals are
invited and welcome into the space as we
learn together about the loss we experience
through a lack of cultural celebration and
honoring and how individual healing can be
found in the Beloved Community of Christ.
