Want to light a fire under your preaching? United Lutheran Seminary is pleased to offer Preaching Perspectives on its Philadelphia Campus. This continuing education program offers valuable insights, creative interpretation of context, and thoughtful resources for the task of preaching. Each presenter engages the biblical texts from the perspective of his or her particular discipline, giving you a season-wide plan for approaching the mission to proclaim the Gospel.

Dr. Crystal L. Hall

Dr. Crystal L. Hall is an Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies at United Lutheran Seminary.

Dr. Hall will explore throughlines and pull at textual threads for lectionary texts from Christ the King Sunday through the Baptism of Our Lord. She’ll share insights for how interpreting these texts in their ancient contexts is relevant for today’s preachers.
