Theological Education with Adults

July 14-20, 2019

Adults are welcome to participate in our Theological Education with Adults, which provides opportunities for like-minded lay folk to gather and wrestle with the issues of theology, ethics, and culture. This is held annually in July on the Gettysburg Campus.

The theme of this year’s program is: The Bible through the Lutheran Lens: Shaping Our Voice and Action. We are called to action through love, the love of God through Jesus Christ. How do we understand the word of God through scripture to then shape our voices and our actions for works of healing, justice and reconciliation in the world?

Come spend a week immersed in that very question, with others who are curious and passionate about their work in the world as well. Opportunity for engagement with United Lutheran Seminary professors, fellow participants and a few ULS seminary students will give you a robust experience. Bring your Bible and curiosity!
