Robert joined the library staff as a circulation assistant in summer 2024.

He received in Ph.D. in Continental Philosophy from Villanova University in 2016. He also received an M.A. in Philosophy from Kent State University, and an M.A. in Liberal Arts from St. John’s College in Annapolis. He held positions as Visiting Assistant Professor in Philosophy at Elon University (2019-2023) and Florida Atlantic University (2016-2019).

Before these, he also taught at Ursinus College, Villanova University, and Kent State University. His research interests include 20th C. social and political philosophy, ancient Greek philosophy, the philosophy of AI, and the philosophy of photography. Robert is also an artist, musician, and author of one book, Exoanthopology: Dialogues with AI (Punctum Books, 2023).
